story nineteen: the reasons we leave

The History of Human Desire will return on January 3rd, 2010 and will be updated every Sunday thereafter. If you’re still around – following us on Twitter, or still have this blog on your reader – don’t go away.
See you soon!
<3,
Leah
I have made the decision to put The History of Human Desire on an indefinite hiatus. Realistically, this probably means that it’s over. This is for a variety of reasons, but mostly because it’s not something I feel good about doing anymore. It isn’t what it set out to be. I’m not a writer – I’m a photographer. I was meant to be the one taking pictures. I’m just playing along, trying to squeeze myself in a role that wasn’t meant for me.
There are a lot of hurt feelings and a little resentment surrounding this project, and I just want to let it go. It may come back some day – possibly in another form.
Those of you following on Twitter can feel free to keep following. I’ll probably keep posting quotations and random tidbits related to love, relationships, and desire.
Thank you and much love,
Leah

“and even though we ain’t got money / I’m so in love with you honey…”

Thank you, again, to guest photograher, Michelle.
